HOW IT WORKS

After technical process water enters the mud settling tank (pos. 1), then through the use of a mud pump it is fed to the silos deep cone (pos. 3). To accelerate the deposition of pulp in the silos, the flocculant solution (pos. 3) simultaneously with the dirty water enters the thickener. The pulp is deposited at the bottom of the thickener (pos. 3). The sludge through the automatic valve enters the intermediate mud tank for averaging the density (pos. 4), then with the slurry pump (pos. 5) it is pumped into the Matec filter press. The filter press dehydrates and compresses the sludge (pos. 6). Purified water by means of overflow enters the clean water tank (pos. 7), wherefrom it is pumped back to equipment for reuse.

 

MATEC water purification technology is based on the physicochemical method of water purification, thickener settling in vertical thickeners with the addition of flocculant and dehydration of concoct sediment on filter presses. The technology is fully consistent with the purification methods described in the Handbook of BAT (Best Available Techniques), “Wastewater Treatment at Large Enterprises”.

Thickeners are used for the treatment of recycled and wastewater in various industries: open-cast mines, tailings, production of concrete and mixtures, drainage and dewatering. Decanters brightens and desliming sewage.

 

Based on the principle of static decantation and natural sedimentation of suspended solids, the process of accelerated water purification occurs due to the ideal size of the silos, the angle of the cone and the water column that presses the sludge, and the use of polyelectrolyte (flocculant). The walls of the thickener are made of stainless steel, that speeds up the process of sludge deposition and protects against corrosion.

Chamber highspeed Filter Press 

An automatic filter press for dewatering condensed sludge squeezes out all the water (90% of extraction), turning the sludge into dry panels (cakes) that can be used as a clay raw material or disposed of dehydrated sediment.

BIFLOC flocculant dosing system

The Bifloc flocculant automatic dosing system tests the pulp entering the thickener and, depending on the deposition rate of suspended solids, the system changes the concentration of the flocculant. The body and tanks of the batcher are made of stainless steel.

Recycling of concrete, water purification from sand, gravel and concrete slime.

While washing automixers a large amount of sludge water consisting of sand, gravel and concrete sludge is formed from the remnants of concrete. European manufacturers of BSU use primary systems for recycling concrete, such as screw separators, for separating sand, gravel and ponds for concrete slime. Part of the concrete sludge is added to the concrete solution, upon that  the consumption of cement required for adhesion of concrete sludge is increasing. For the disposal of the main part of the concrete sludge, periodic cleanliness of the sump pond by sludge pumps is necessary.

 

We use complete recycling of concrete, which allows to dehydrate concrete sludge and get sand, crushed stone and clean technical water suitable for washing automixers, concrete mixing units and in the production of mortar. For dewatering concrete sludge, we use the MATEC filter press with an automatic washing system that allows to filter water up to 98% automatically and wash itself of concrete residues. For concretes containing Microfiber Shotcrete fibers we use special filters. Concrete recycling for washing 50-100-200 automixers per day, posts for simultaneous washing of two automixers.

  

For HBFs (house-building factories) and concrete products factories (concrete goods), we use compact plants for cleaning recycled water from concrete slurry that do not require foundations. Compact filter presses can fit into the premises of 15-20 sq.m. Purified water can be used in the main process for preparing mortar, water-jet cutting and polishing of concrete without damaging the cutter’s nozzles.

The cleaning complex is controlled by a programmable controller in a fully automatic mode, it does not need an operator and constant maintenance. 

  

The principle of processing: after washing the mixer machine, the mixture of water and concrete is poured into the receiving hopper of the washing auger. Crushed stone and sand are deposited on the bottom, dehydrated by the auger and discharged into a container, and sludge water is fed by gravity into an average tank. The mechanical blades of the expansion tank constantly stir the slurry water so that the cement does not settle. By means of a membrane pump, the slurry water is fed to a filter press. The filter press dehydrates the concrete slurry, and the clean process water is fed back into the water supply cycle.

Mini-plants for water treatment

Compact wastewater treatment plants for ceramic production, stone processing, production of concrete products, on construction sites, quarries and for washing equipment with concrete residues. Purification facilities allow to clean water from mechanical impurities, sludge (crumb, stone dust, clay, glaze and other contaminants) with high quality.

Depending on the amount and type of mechanical impurities, the system automatically adds a flocculant or coagulant solution. Condensed sludge can be dumped in big bags or dehydrated on a filter press. Additionally, you can install “Disoil 5000” (grease traps) to solve the problems of water resulting from washing the wheels and tires of trucks operating on construction sites.

 

Compact plants with a capacity of 200 to 700 l / min can be used on sites with limited space.

The frame of the complex is completely solid, the tank for purified water is inside the thickener. In a small space of about 2.5 m x 2.5 m and a high of 5 m plant, the Kompact type combines all the components and quality standards typical of larger plants.
